Universal Process Controller PID - UPC612

The UPC612 is a conventional PID controller designed for stand-alone applications packaged in a IP54 rated wall mounted enclosure, and features:

• All types of common process signals as well as a wide range of sensors can be directly connected to the input of the UPC612.
• The process variable is indicated by a 3.5 digit L.C.D. or L.E.D. indicator, which also displays the set point by depressing a push button close to the indicator.
• Set point selection can be carried out by adjusting a large-knob potentiometer located at the front panel for convenience.
• Remote set point option can be fitted with the addition of a "Local-Remote" selector switch.
• Control mode is normally P (PROPORTIONAL), but can be extended to full PID mode. All tuning potentiometers are located in the termination compartment.
• A green L.E.D. is energised as soon as the process has stabilised to within 5% of the set point.
• The process variable is normally available as a 0-1mA retransmit output, but can be factory configured for the popular 4-20mA signal format or any other process signal.
• Control outputs are available as analogue, opto coupler, open collector or as 8A rated contacts, depending on the factory configured type.

Common applications include:

• Water quality control of public swimming pools, fountains and water features.
• Motor or pump control.
• All factory applications suitable for PID control.
